I have only used the drive-through, but the food is always fresh and very delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient. From what I can see of the kitchen, it is kept very clean. Also, their last health inspection earned them a 100% score, which isn't too common. Even my picky family members love eating here.
I’m so happy I found this place! I’ve visited many times since first discovering it, and it never disappoints. The drive-thru is always busy, but it moves quickly. The staff is amazing and efficient, and they’ve even reopened the dining room. I absolutely love their sweet carrots, and the meal options are endless. The best part is that my boyfriend and I can get two delicious meals for just 21 – it’s such a great deal that’s almost unheard of! :)
Haven't been in a while...called in an order and picked it up through the drive through..we got the Koumi Dinner special for two...20 bucks gets you fried rice, chicken, Steak , scallops hibachi style with vegetables, sweet carrots and choice of salad or clear soup.it comes with plenty of food for two and two of their amazing shrimp sauces!!..the food here is always cooked fresh and is delicious !!..being right on 74 in Monroe and having the drive through makes it convenient to get in and out for locals and travelers alike...if you haven't been, give it a try !!! You'll like it !
Love this place, during the pandemic they were one of the few restaurants open, they had their drive through up and running which developed quite the reputation. Just recently they re opened the dine in area. There is always a bit of wait in the drive through but it is definitely worth it! One of the best hibachi restaurants around. The teriyaki chicken and steak are both delicious! Highly recommend!
This place serves the most amazing japanese hibachi you will be able to find within 25 miles. They use authentic ingredients & aren't in the market of overcharging customers. If you're looking to get some great quality hibachi cuisine without paying fancy dine-in prices, this is your place. I rate Kuni Express at 5 for their super fast drive-thru times despite having Chick-fil-A lines most of the time since Covid-19. Each visit is a great experience, thanks guys!
Koumi has been- only drive through- since the plan-demic happened. Update: 2025 they are open for dine in also. So I gave it five stars for atmosphere because the line can be really long and it goes so fast it really isn't bad.(2025 still true!) The food is always hot, fresh and good. My son loves their clear soup and the hot green tea. We usually get hibachi and some spring rolls too. Always pleasant people and never an attitude. Highly recommend!
THE best hibachi hands down!!! I drive all the way from Huntersville just to pick up delicious food from this gem!! They NEVER miss!! Great customer service, convenient drive thru window and dine in available.
